Jiří Andrle

Jiří and his wife began breeding Czechoslovak Wolfdogs in 1971, and since then they’ve only reared a few litters. Since the breed is crossed with the wolf, they wanted to gain a better understanding of this wild animal, so they acquired their first wolf – a white Canadian-Alaskan female named Elza – in 1981. Soon after, she was joined by an Artic wolf and then a European wolf. Their first successful attempt at breeding wolves came sometime around 1985.

It’s not at all true that wolves are dangerous. It all depends on how you behave towards them. You have to know them very well and live with them. Wolves must never become bored. If they do, they’ll destroy everything you have :-)
