Jiří Toman

I’ve been a professional dog handler with the Czech Armed Forces since 2010. In my employment, I have two service dogs who specialize in scent detection, but my real passion is defence, which is why I actively devote my free time to mondioring, both as a competitor and as an international decoy. Together with my Belgian Shepherd, Eclipse Olbramovický kvítek, we’ve achieved some pretty remarkable successes in mondioring. We had two appearances at the World Championship, and in 2019 we became the Czech All Breeds National Champions and the Czech National Belgian Shepherd Champions. Twice I’ve had the honour of serving as a decoy at the World Championship, and in addition to Czech competitions I also serve at competitions throughout Europe. My greatest achievement as a decoy was 8th place in the Decoy Superselection, which is the world championship for decoys in mondioring. 

My wife and I run a kennel for Belgian Shepherds. And as if that wasn’t enough, we also have our own mondioring team, in which we train people who are as enthusiastic about cynology as we are :-)
