Pomeranians are good as companions for both lazy bones and sports people. These dogs who come from Pomerania (the region on the north of Germany and Poland) were originally used as sheep dogs even though they are classified as miniature breeds these days. Mainly queen Victoria who liked them very much and allegedly contributed to their miniaturization made them popular. The aim was to breed as little and furry dogs as possible and therefore they are only half as big than they used to be.
This compact little dog with the weight around two kilos can be a great companion you’ll have a lot of fun with.
