What today's pets wear - 3 novelties from the world of pet fashion

There is nothing strange or different about dressing our animals today. Whether it's just about fashion or functionality, we meet dogs in clothes on every corner. Today, I chose a few new pieces from the functional clothing category that are worth mentioning. Dog clothes are no longer just about fashion, with some breeds today they are a necessity. And this doesn't just apply to small, short-haired breeds. Most dogs today live with us in our house or apartment, so they are warm all day. Then, when you take them out for a walk in January, they experience a real thermal shock, and that can cause serious health problems.

I have a mongrel with a medium-long coat, but it certainly doesn't have a thick coat. So when we go for a longer walk in the winter, I always dress him up (especially his bare underside). Let's take a look at some new functional clothing pieces for dogs:

The first one is the Airy Vest jacket for dogs. It looks like a quilted feather-filled jacket, and you can choose from many colors, so your dog will also be satisfied in terms of fashion. If you choose the Lumi jacket, you will gain another benefit - it glows in the dark! The producer tried to combine functionality and style as best as possible, which, I think, he succeeded in doing. The jacket is very warm yet light, it doesn't restrict the dog's movement and it's waterproof. Because I have a dog that likes to get dirty, I welcome the fact that the jacket is double sided.

Another functional clothing piece is Hurtta Extreme Warmer. Your dog wouldn't freeze wearing this even in Siberia (I'm exaggerating, of course). As the name suggests, the clothing is designed for extreme conditions. It is very warm and it has a foil insulating layer. It was developed in the field with work dogs. Its cut ensures maximum protection for all important muscle groups and complete freedom of movement. The foil insulation keeps the heat generated by the dog inside and the top material is breathable, so there is no risk of overheating or sweating, and it is also waterproof. The smallest size even includes an integrated harness, and you can adjust the back length by up to 5 cm in all sizes. There is also a great deal of variability in neck and chest circumference settings and, of course, there are also reflective elements.

The last novelty we are looking at today is the new Finnish brand Rukka. It offers raincoats that cover the torso and head or the whole dog except the paws and tail - I will present this coat today. It's called Protect Overall, and it is mainly suitable for dogs with long hair that tends to get tangled, or dog owners that don't like wet couches. :) The raincoat is made of light, elastic fabric so it will not restrict your dog. It has taped seams and a high resistance to wind and rain. It has an adjustable waist, collar and neckline, so you can easily set it for any dog. If there's mud outside, you just need to put your dog under the shower in the raincoat, and you will have a clean raincoat and a clean, dry dog.
